The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Tuesday morning strong armed robbery of the Exxon station on Sea Island Parkway in Frogmore.
Authorities set up a perimeter around the gas station, and the Sheriff's Office's K-9 unit was called in to help track suspects that may have escaped into nearby woods, said Cpl. Robin McIntosh, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
McIntosh said investigators were not releasing any additional information on the suspects sought in the crime. No arrests have been made.
