The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect alleged to have robbed and beaten a man with a brick or cinder block.

A deputy responded just after 1 a.m. Thursday to a complaint from near Dobbs BP gas station in Burton. There he found Berry Saddler, 42, of 68 Glass Road in Burton with swelling, cuts and bruising on his face and head, according to an incident report.
Saddler was assaulted with a brick or cinder block, the report said. He was not taken to the hospital.
Police are looking for a "larger, heavy-set, tall" black male known as "Big Man" in connection with the incident, the report said.
