The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery this morning of the Exxon station on Sea Island Parkway in Frogmore.
Authorities have established a perimeter around the gas station and are processing the crime scene, Cpl. Robin McIntosh, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman, said just after noon.
The Sheriff's Office's K-9 unit also was dispatched to help track suspects that might have escaped into nearby woods. No arrests have been made, she said.
