"Gracie," Broadway's third-longest running solo show, was nominated for a 2003 Tony Award for Best Play and won the 2003-'04 National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Play as well.

"Gracie" finds Burns in Limbo, unable to join his beloved wife and partner, Gracie Allen, until he gives the performance of his lifetime for God. The show follows Burns from his impoverished, plucky youth on the lower East Side of New York to his career in Vaudeville to his work in movies, radio and television.

Tickets are $30-$40 (half-price for children under 12) and available by calling 843-521-4145. The University of South Carolina Beaufort is located at 801 Carteret St., Beaufort.
