In addition, the school is hosting "Terpischore, Too," featuring students from the Hilton Head Dance School, at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday at Hilton Head Island High School. Cyclists hold 'Ride of Silence'
The Kickin' Asphalt Bicycle club will hold a "Ride of Silence," starting at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Sea Turtle Cinemas parking lot in Bluffton. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. The ride will be 10 miles long, at a slow pace. HHIHS explores the 'Dark'
Seahawk Stage Productions at Hilton Head Island High School will present the mystery play "Wait Until Dark" at 8 p.m. today and Saturdayand Tuesday-May 24 at the school's Black Box Theatre. Walley to perform at church
The Bluffton United Methodist Church will feature a concert by baritone Matthew Walley, accompanied by his mother, Mary K. Walley, at 4 p.m. Sunday. This concert is partially funded by the Arts Council of Beaufort County. For more information, call 843-757-3351.
Dorsey Orchestra to perform
The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, conducted by trombonist Buddy Morrow, will perform a free outdoor concert from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the site of the HGTV Green Home in Tradition Hilton Head as part of a celebration of the closing of tours of the home. The concert will take place on the lawn between the Green Home and Tradition Hilton Head National Golf Course's pro shop. The event is free and open to the public. Coolers will not be allowed, but refreshments will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. The Green Home will be open for final tours until 8 p.m.
HHIHS hosts Holly Brown dance
Holly Brown Dance Company will have a dance recital featuring the award winning 5678 Dance Teams at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Hilton Head Island High School Visual and Performing Arts Center. 'Jekyll' continues at May River
The May River Theatre's new production of the musical "Jekyll and Hyde" will run through Sunday at the theater at Ulmer Auditorium in Bluffton Town Hall. Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. All tickets are $20. For tickets, call 843-815-5581.
Harbormasters holding 10th anniversary concert
The Beaufort Harbormasters Barbershop Chorus will hold its 10th Anniversary Concert at 7 p.m. May 23 at the Baptist Church of Beaufort, 600 Charles St., Beaufort. The event is free. For more information, call 843-846-6038.
Stages launches comedy night
Starting this month, the Stages nightclub in Park Plaza is teaming up with the Comedy Zone to present two comedy shows every Wednesday night at the Hilton Head Island club. Just June performs on Wednesday, followed by Julie Scoggins on May 28. Shows will take place at 7:30 and 10 p.m., and all tickets will be $10.
