'Terpsichore' tickets on sale now

Tickets are on sale for the Hilton Head Dance Theatre's upcoming production of "Terpsichore." The performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 and at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and will feature classical ballet as well as jazz. Tickets are $26 for adults and $16 for children 18 and under, and are available at the Arts Center box office or by calling 843-842-2787.

Bonus Summer Jam on the island today

An extra holiday edition ofthe Island Recreation Association's free Summer Jams concert series will take place from 6-10:30 p.m. today at Shelter Cove Park on Hilton Head Island. The series continues in its regular slot from 7-10 p.m. Tuesdays at Shelter Cove Community Park. Music Madness will perform each week, and the event will close with a fireworks display over Shelter Cove. Food and beverages will be sold. All proceeds benefit the Rec Center's scholarship fund, which helps guarantee that "no child is denied" recreation opportunities.

All Saints Church presents Ensemble

All Saints Episcopal Church on Hilton Head Island will sponsor Ensemble Con Spirito, a Savannah women's sacred music ensemble, in a concert of sacred patriotic songs at 4 p.m. Sunday. The nine-member group, which was founded in 2001 by managing director Cuffy Sullivan, focuses on sacred, mostly a cappella music that has been arranged specifically for women's voices. The group performs a wide range of composers with an emphasis upon female composers when possible. A free-will offering will be donated to the ensemble for an upcoming recording project. BPA campers go to 'High School'

Beaufort Performing Arts is presenting the BPA's Musical Theatre Summer Camp production of "High School Musical," at 7 p.m. July 12 and 3 p.m. July 13 at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Performing Arts Center, 801 Carteret St., Beaufort. This event marks the fifth year of the nationally recognized summer camp for children between the ages of 8-16. Beaufort Academy English teacher and theatre director Ian Sprague, assisted by professional choreographer Kathleen Watkins, helms the show. 'Beauty' continues on Main Street

The Main Street Youth Theatre's production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" continues at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays from through Aug. 10 at the Main Street Theater, 3000 Main St., Hilton Head Island. 'Buddy' continues at the Arts Center

"Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story," a show celebrating the life, legend and music of the rock 'n' roll pioneer, continues at the Arts Center this week. Touted as the world's most successful rock musical (the show ran in London's West End for more than 5,000 performances), "Buddy" is a jukebox show that covers all of his classic hits. "Buddy" stars Matthew Gray, Jason Yachanin and Scott Moss. It continues at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 7 p.m. Sundays through July 27. For information or tickets, call 843- 842-2787.

The Sun City Community Theatre will present "Brigadoon" at 7:30 p.m. July 17-19 and 25-26 and 2 p.m. July 24 at the Bluffton High School Performing Arts Center.
