Star-studded Film Fest returns to Savannah
A premier eight-day cultural event in historic downtown Savannah, the Savannah Film Festival, which runs from Saturday through Nov. 3, features more than 50 films selected from more than 600 entries submitted from all over the world.

This year's honored guests include Michael Douglas, Charlie Rose, Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave, Milos Forman, Brett Ratner and John Sayles; other guests include James Franco, who will screen his film "Good Time Max"; James Ivory of the Merchant-Ivory duo and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Films being screened include "The Kite Runner," "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly," "Grace is Gone," "Reservation Road" and "August Rush."
