Cowboy up: Shelton headlines Beaufort Water Festival
Country singer Blake Shelton has spent a good bit of time outside the country arena lately: He was seen serving as a team leader in the 2007 reality show "Clash of the Choirs," and his most recent single is a twanged-up cover of a song written and popularized by Canadian jazz singer Michael Bublé.

In May, Shelton released a "Deluxe Edition" of his 2007 disc "Pure BS," to capitalize on the success of the Buble song.
"I put it on my iPod and started listening to it again and loved it," Shelton said earlier this year. "Some of the guys on the bus were fans of Michael and they asked to hear it again and again."
Shelton will appear on Saturday night as the headlining act at the Beaufort Water Festival this year; the Chuck Courtenay Band opens.
