Kevn Kinney -- no "i" in there -- the frontman for Southern rockers Drivin' n' Cryin', performs a solo show tonight at the Big Bamboo, 1 North Forest Beach Dr., No. 210, Hilton Head Island.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]"Kevn Kinney the folk singer guy is more linear, more wordy," the singer told the Guide back in February. "The folk thing is more autobiographical. The lyrics match the music more. Drivin' n' Cryin' is kind of more anthemic."
Kinney says such solo shows will take up much of his future. "I'm the only full-time musician left in the group. I think the days of killing ourselves to go to Salt Lake City are over," he said.
