A little bit of Nashville will come to the Lowcountry when singer-songwriter Branan Logan performs an intimate acoustic show Sunday night at Stages.

Logan has shared the stage with a number of country stars, including John Michael Montgomery and Michelle Branch; he's also been heard on Grand Ole Opry Radio. And as a songwriter, his song "Got A Little Crazy" was recently recorded by Kenny Chesney.

Sunday's show will highlight songs from Logan's debut CD, "Rare and Well Done," which was released by Sandbar Records, a label Logan founded with Lowcountry resident Chad Dally. "It's more good-time music -- light and fun," Logan said. "It's not crying in your beer country -- it's party country."

In addition to his originals, Logan will also cover a number of current favorites by artists like Chesney and Rascal Flatts.

Logan's performance is part of a new singer-songwriter series at Stages that promises a more intimate style of performance. Logan said he prefers such smaller shows. "I enjoy the interaction, he said. "I'd definitely choose a smaller venue over a crowd of 50,000."

Folks can come up and tell me they liked my songs or that something touched them."
