Wing Fest returns to island next weekend

The Island Recreation Association will present the 13th

annual Hargray Wing Fest from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 22 at Shelter Cove Community Park.

Coca-Cola, Pearlstine Distributors and Budweiser will be on hand, while Ben Arnold Wine & Spirits will have various wines and liquor available. Giuseppi's pizza, Kilwin's ice cream and Street Meet hot dogs can also be purchased.

A kids' zone, rock wall and a bungee trampoline will also be available.

There is a $5 entrance fee and chicken wing tickets can be bought in blocks of 10 for $7. All proceeds benefit the Association's Scholarship Fund.
