•Dolphin Pride Band Boosters annual fruit sale continues through Nov. 21. Deliveries will be Dec. 10. All orders are prepaid with checks being payable to Battery Creek High School Band Boosters. •The SADD Club invites schools to sponsor a team for The Beaufort OlymPigs Kiss the Pig campaign, a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. A starter package is available for groups interested in sponsoring a team and participating in the OlymPigs Parade and Kick-off at 4 p.m. Saturday in Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. •The Fall Athletic Banquet is at 6:30 p.m. today.
•Reps from Georgia Southern University will be on campus at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
•The second- and third-grade field trip departs at 9 a.m. Thursday.
BEAUFORT HIGH SCHOOL
•The school will host a financial aid workshop at 7 p.m. Wednesday targeting students and parents in the auditorium. The workshop is open to all grade levels. The workshop will include presentations from S.C. Tuition Grants, Commission of Higher Education, University of South Carolina Beaufort and Technical College of the Lowcountry Financial Aid and a representative from a state college financial aid office. The National Honor Society will hold its induction of new members at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium.

BEAUFORT MIDDLE SCHOOL
•Parents should ask students for the Friday Facts sheet.
LADY'S ISLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL
•The school will be closed today for Veterans Day. No offices are open at school.
•The Celebrations of Achievement for eighth grade will take place in the gym at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
•The Celebrations of Achievement for sixth grade will occur in the gym at 8 a.m. Thursday.
•The Celebrations of Achievement for seventh grade will take place in the gym at 8 a.m. Friday.
•The school will have an Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday to showcase the new fifth-grade wing and the STEM Curriculum.
•The media center is hosting a book fair starting Monday. It will be open during the open house.
•Forms for the American Education Week lunch are due back at the school this week.
MOSSY OAKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
•The fall book fair is being held through Nov. 20 in the main hallway. Proceeds benefit the school's library book collection.
PORT ROYAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
•The Port Royal Elementary Fall Festival will be at 6-8 p.m. Friday at Live Oaks Park, the corner of London Avenue and 14th Street. A Lowcountry Boil is $10 for adults, $3 for students and chance basket tickets are $1 each for a chance at a prize. There will be face painting, sand art, cake walk, Bingo for WEBKINZ and more. ROBERT SMALLS MIDDLE SCHOOL
•A Parent Teacher Organization fundraiser with Belk's Special Sale is 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday. All tickets must be purchased by Friday. Tickets are $5. The ticket is good for admittance in the sale and $5 off your first purchase.
•The Parent Teacher Organization meeting is at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 in the media center.
SHANKLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
•Students will not attend school today.
•Shanklin's first Quarter Perfect Attendance Assembly will be held Friday. Kindergarten, first and second grades will meet in the multi-purpose room at 9:15 a.m. and grades three, four and five will meet in the multi-purpose room at 1:30 p.m. Students who did not come to the Achievement Awards dinner Nov. 6 will get their certificates then.
•Shanklin students who were absent on Picture Day may have their pictures taken Nov. 18.
•Shanklin Elementary will have its Family Night at 6 p.m. Nov. 18. Parents will learn ways to help their children at home with math, social studies and science. Refreshments will be served.
SHELL POINT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
•Primary MAP Testing for kindergarten through first grades isthrough Nov. 18.
•ITBS/CoGAT Testing for second grade only is through Nov. 18.
