CANTATA PERFORMANCE IS SUNDAY
The Christmas cantata, "There Is Peace in the World Tonight," is scheduled to be presented by the Chancel Choir of the Carteret Street United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
Christmas Eve services are scheduled with a family worship at 5 p.m. and a candlelight communion service at 11 p.m. Dec. 24.

CONCERT TO BE SUNDAY AT ST. PETER'S
St. Peter's Catholic Church Choir will present a concert at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
The choir and instrumental ensemble will perform works by Praetorius, Bach, Corelli, Mozart, Saint-Saens and Brahms. Organist Gary Rakestraw will perform "In Dulci Jubilo" by Karg-elert. Vocal soloists will include Flavia Feltner, Kate Cordial and Benjamin Morgan. Mary Ingrassia will conduct the choir.

SING-OUT CONCLUDES SUNDAY AT UNION BAPTIST

An evening of Christmas music is at 6 p.m. Sunday at Sea Island Presbyterian Church, 81 Lady's Island Drive.
All of the church's music groups, children and adult, will participate. The Cherub Choir, directed by Debbie Snyder, Covenant Choir, Sea Island Ringers (handbell choir), Kirk Choir (adult choir) and SIP Chords (male quartet), will present sacred and secular music.

'MYSTERY OF THE MANGER' PERFORMANCE
Have you ever wondered how much of the Christmas story is fact and how much is fiction?
Jane Blonde will discover the truth about Christmas in the upcoming production of "The Mystery of the Manger," a children's musical performed at 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Helena Baptist Church, 1608 Sea Island Parkway, St. Helena Island.
In "The Mystery of the Manger," Jane Blonde, an investigative reporter for the local newspaper wants the facts ... just the facts. As she observes rehearsal for the Christmas Eve pageant, the children teach her through songs that "Like the Wise men," we're all searching for the truth.
Refreshments and fellowship will follow the performance. A nursery will be provided.

Christmas Eve candlelight service on Hunting Island
St. Helena Baptist Church will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service at Hunting Island State Park at 6 p.m. Dec. 24.
