•Bethlehem Baptist Church will be having its First Annual Feed the Hungry for Thanksgiving outreach ministry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. The church is located at 1441 Ribaut Road in Port Royal (across the street from Hardees).

'Turn the Tide' event today at Allen Chapel

"Turning the Tide" will be 1-6 p.m. today at the Allen Chapel Complex off I-95, exit 28. The speakers will be Elder Joseph Austin, Pastor Dr. Allen Galloway, Pastor Thomas Williams and others.

More Angel Food coming in December

There will be another Angel Food Distribution at Saint John's Lutheran Church, 157 Lady's Island Drive, from 9-11 a.m today. If you want to volunteer to unload the truck, be there at 6:30 a.m. There will be a short devotion at 8:30 a.m. Details: 843-838-5141 or 524-3461.

Clothing donations wanted to stay warm

Gospel Light Christian Ministries is seeking donations for its "Help Keep Our Community Warm" event from 1 to 3 p.m. today at 201 Jennings Road.

The church will be serving soup and cornbread and has received a few donations of space heaters to be given away. Donations of clothes, shoes, blankets and heaters are needed.

Pre-Thanksgiving celebration in Port Royal

The Third Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Community Celebration for All-Faiths will take place in the Historic Union Church, 11th Street and Paris Avenue, Port Royal, at 7:30 p.m. today.

New ministry/women's bible study continue

Services at All Nations Ministries continue at 10:30 a.m. Sundays and at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Beaufort Holiday Inn, 2225 Boundary St.

All Nations Ministries was founded by Augusta Reed. Reed worked as a speech language pathologist in the Beaufort County School District for three years.

Ebenezer Choir presents sermon of songs

Ebenezer Adult Choir will present A Sermon through Songs Anniversary program at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Allen Chapel celebrates anniversary

This year marks the 139th Anniversary of the Allen Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. The 2008 theme is: "A Bride in All Her beauty." The celebration ends at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Kenneth Doe, Bethesda Christian Fellowship.

Unitarian Universalist talk climate change

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Beaufort's next service will be "Climate Change: Impacts and Opportunities" by guest speaker Toni Reale, Southern Alliance for Clean Energy SE coastal organizer. The service is at 10 a.m. Sunday. Reale's presentation includes a 10-minute video: "Rising Seas: Challenges and Opportunities for the Low Country."

Wayne A Barr returns with a solo concert
