Authorities are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Lady's Island jewelry store at gunpoint Friday afternoon.
At about 3:45 p.m., a man armed with a handgun walked into The Jeweler's Bench on Sea Island Parkway and stole $600 in cash and an undisclosed amount of jewelry, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report.
The value of the jewelry stolen would be determined when the store performed an inventory, the report states.
No arrests have been made and authorities have no suspects or persons of interest as of Monday afternoon, said Lt. Jim Bukoffsky, Sheriff's Office spokesman.
The case is under investigation, he said.
