Six nabbed in two-day drug sting
Six area suspects were arrested on drug and gun charges Wednesday and Thursday during a Beaufort-Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force investigation.

Warrants from a monthslong investigation were executed in Beaufort and Jasper counties during the two-day sting, which netted substantial seizures of narcotics, weapons, vehicles, and money, as well as the arrests of several repeat drug offenders. More arrests are anticipated in reference to these continuing investigations, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office release Friday.
On Wednesday, officers searched 88 Pine Grove Rd in Burton and found crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Also found was a 12-gauge pump action shotgun.
Deputies arrested: Adrian Leon Fripp, 24, of 88 Pine Grove Road and charged him with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and giving false Information to law enforcement.
Also arrested was Sharawn Jahnise Gordan, 24, 317 Shanklin Road, Lot 24, Burton, and charged with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine and simple possession of marijuana.
Also Wednesday, DTF officers searched 177 Macedonia Road in Hardeeville and found crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A .380 caliber handgun also was seized.
Travis Brown, 29, of 177 Macedonia Road was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and simple possession of marijuana.
Also Wednesday, officers searched 763 Church Road in Hardeeville and seized two shotguns. An arrest is pending on Samuel D. Brown for drug charges related to the drug investigation.
On Thursday, officers search 20 Island Tank Road, Lot 36, in Burton and seized crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, money, a vehicle and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested was Kevin L. Mims, 36, 20 Island Tank Road, Lot 36, Burton, and charged him with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
Mims is on federal probation for drug charges.
Also arrested were Sharika Eugene, 23, 20 Island Tank Road, Lot 36, Burton, and charged with simple possession of marijuana and Lisa Mims, 23, 20 Island Tank Road, Lot 36, Burton, and charged with simple possession of marijuana.
