Senator hosting water and energy forum in Bluffton

State Sen. Danny Verdin, R-Laurens, chairman of the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, has arranged three public meetings around the state this month to solicit citizens' input on water and energy resources.

One of the meetings will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 in the lobby of the Hargray Building at the Bluffton campus of the University of South Carolina Beaufort. The other meetings are being held at Francis Marion University and Clemson University.
Verdin will moderate all three sessions, and last about 90 minutes.
