The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium and state Department of Natural Resources are seeking volunteers for their annual Beach Sweep/River Sweep cleanup scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The sweep will be South Carolina's largest one-day litter cleanup of beaches, marshes and waterways and will take place in conjunction with the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.
