Beaufort Memorial announces new vice president

Beaufort Memorial Hospital announced Wednesday that Edward Ricks will be the new vice president and chief information officer. He will oversee a team of information technologists and be responsible for information services and telecommunication at the hospital. He will join Beaufort Memorial's staff from Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y., and has more than eight years of experience, according to a news release.
