Beaufort-based novelty snack-maker The TeeZel Co. inked a deal for golf legend Arnold Palmer's image to appear on packages of TeeZels golf tee-shaped pretzels and other tee-shaped snacks.

Along with the multi-year licensing deal, TeeZel said this week that it soon will introduce a multi-serving bag that it will market for sale in grocery stores. The new bag will hold about 8 ounces of TeeZels, compared with the 1.5-ounce bags available in 700 country clubs.
Chris Byrd, a TeeZel principal owner, said the company hopes to reach grocery stores early next year.
