Pinewood Prep def. Hilton Head Christian Academy, 3-0: The Eagles dropped to 0-2 on the season. Host Pinewood won by scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-20. The Eagles will be in action at noon today in Charleston against Ashley Hall.
The Hilton Head Christian JV team won its match against Pinewood, 25-11, 26-28, 25-20. That improves the JV Eagles to 1-1 overall.
Ashley Hall def. Thomas Heyward, 3-0: Thomas Heyward's volleyball team fell to 0-3 on the season with a 25-11, 25-7, 25-6 road loss at Ashley Hall on Thursday. Aundie Cooler led the Rebels with five digs, five kills and four assists. Melissa Trout had eight kills, two aces and 12 blocks. The squad will host Bible Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Thomas Heyward lost Thursday's JV match 25-4, 25-16. Mackenzie Cooler had eight kills and three blocks.
