Ridgeland High School's football contest at Barnwell High School was postponed Friday due to wet field conditions. The game will be made up at 3 p.m. today at Barnwell.

The schools were informed of this decision around 2 p.m. Friday in an email from Robert Huff, the public information director for Jasper County school district.
This Region 5-AA contest holds major implications for both teams. The Jaguars (3-5, 1-2 in region) need wins in their final two contests to secure a playoff spot, while the Warhorses (5-3, 3-0) are looking to lock up the region's top seed.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's game at Colleton Prep also was postponed and will be played at 6 p.m. today in Walterboro. The Eagles (6-2, 4-0 in SCISAA Region 2-AA) look to add another win to their perfect region record. The Warhawks bring an overall record of 6-3 and a region record of 2-2 into the contest.
Thomas Heyward Academy's home game against Northwood Academy also fell victim to Friday's weather. It was pushed back to today. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Northwood Academy is 7-2 overall and 4-0 in SCISAA Region
2-AA. The Rebels are 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the region.
